White Russian

70ml vodka
35ml Kahlua
Ice
Martini glass

I was given two of these beeee-u-tiful glasses by my lovely friends, Jo and James, and having already had a martini before dinner thought an after dinner martini may be in order.

So, this is a White Russian Martini. The White Russian came about in the 1960s when some bright spark decided to add cream to the Black Russian. It kind of died then and there to be resurrected in the 1998 film, The Big Lebowski (which I must watch).

Put 70ml vodka and 35ml Kahlua in a cocktail shaker with ice and add a good dash of cream. Give it a good shake and strain into a beautiful glass. Drink while watching your guilty pleasure TV show.
